Our Story
Ivan Davalos, who built Universal Diesel Works from the ground up in 2016. Ivan spent his entire life watching his father run a trucking repair business and pursued an education in diesel engines. When his father’s business was struck by economic uncertainties, Ivan took a chance and opened his own diesel engine repair and servicing shop. He started from square one with only one other employee to help, and 5 years later, has transformed Universal Diesel Works into a leading diesel service in the Illinois area.
As a family-owned business, we pride ourselves on hard work and are dedicated to customer service. We are well known for our excellent safety precautions, as our number one priority is making sure you feel safe on the road.
